crm no spark

hi there still having a problem with my lads crm 250 no spark
changed the cdi reg/rec also coil and new plug
a guy used his meter at the coil wires and when you kicked it over the reading was from 30 to 40 volts dc i dont know if thats the way to test it but i would of thought if there is power to the coil wires then theres power getting throw the rest of the circuits magneto reg/cdi etc any help thanks ron

keep an eye on kramers post as he's having bother with no spark but 30-40 volts does sound hi to me

Might be worth checking the stator if the new coil provides no joy.
This might help if you are unsure how to go about it - Although I am not sure of the stock resistance specs of the stator.

oh and before doing any of that or spending any more money.... Check the kill switch!
check it for continuity or completely bypass/short it while testing.

That would sound far more likely than the stator or coils failing.

check out kramers post we ended up swapping my pick ups (mk2 his ar) that sit above the flywheel & it worked. good luck
