Exhaust Flushing

Im just wondering what the best method for flushing the exhaust is? As I constently have oil dripping from where the silencer connects to the main exhaust, is this normal?

The exhaust is a FMF Gnarly from front to back.

Also is it just the first section of exhaust that needs to be flushed, or both it and the silencer?

Cheers

Don't really need to flush either. Replacing the glassfibre packing in the silencer will cure the problem for a while. The reason you haver the gunk is that the engine does not burn much of the 2 troke oil that goes through it, particularly if you are using synthetic or semisynthetic. Also it can be a sign of the engine running rich - which is not neccessarily a bad thing. It just depends on how quickly the gunk builds up. Also if you go on lots of short runs/low speed and don't get the exhaust up to temperature.
