Throttle cable part No Mk3
I need a new throttle cable and the last time I tried LT they were sold out and did not know when they would get any more.
The part No for the Mk2 is 17910-KAE-870
The AR is 17910-KAE-770
I dont have a parts list for my Mk3 but looking at these part No's these are the same so the MK3 will be one or the other?

Mk3 - 17910-KAE-740
Lings don't have them either so there maybe no more stock as LT said.

if youve got a useable set of outer cables surly you can get a new set of inners made up
Im thinking about a bike with more valves than a powervalve

You can get pretty much everything made up as new but it's just adds some difficulty. MTX cables are available so you could get the junction bit from there and then the outers and inners are readily available. I suspect the MTX200 cable with a bit of alteration may be suitable.

I have been able to get a throttle cable from David Silver spares but they only had one left (I tried 2) - that is to say only one of their suppliers had one listed as in stock so hopefully I have one in the bag.
I telephoned LT as well to get another bit and spoke with Gerry who works on the spares counter. i asked him if they had any Mk2 throttle cables. They don't have any and he said in fact the cable they provide for Mk1, 2 and 3 are the same cable.
Gerry also said he would chase their cable supplier.

Tried to buy the 55.00Y CRM 250 throttle cable, but the website is awful (even when translated) and it doesn't seem to accept my credit card, or delivery to Vietnam.. Any advise fishy??

Re: Throttle cable part No Mk3
Great fishy- if its good and fits the Mk3 then could you get me one??
I desperately need one, as my throttle keeps sticking 'full-on'!! Not good.
I did think it was odd that they don't deliver to Nam, even though we but-on to China and have mostly Chinese living here...
I can either paypal you the money and the p & p fee, or send it to a bank account number- whichever...

Re: Throttle cable part No Mk3
Just to state whats been said in the thread earlier.
The Mk3 throttle cable is compatible with a Mk2?
So the part number 17910-KAE-770 would do the trick
