Hi all, just picked up a Mk3, looking to do some more green landing. Been riding 4 stroke trailie's and had the urge for a two stroke, wanted a CRM since i used to endure an '89 CR250 16 years ago, so i finally got one :-)

Hi Mike, maybe we can meet up some time and get some green lanes in :-) I've done a bit around Alton but mostly head off out on Salisbury plain.

Anyone else down this neck of the woods?

Cheers, Andy

Just me at the mo, I have done the plains, and feel confident there's a good couple of days riding out in that direction, then an overnight stop in the area, [camping, or travel lodge] and a different route back.

Sounds like a bit of a plan coming together!
There's a cracking good charity ride across the plain on the 27th December to work off the Christmas excess, I hope to do it again this year work permitting.
I'm looking into doing some of the north Hampshire lanes this summer too.

Hi, I'm in Farnham and am really keen to meet up with others. Got a mk2 with an AR engine. Where abouts are you?

Paul.

Paul, did we meet last night at the TRF club night?
Sorry, I forgot about you.
How about Sat the 5 Aug, or the Sun 6th?
There's a couple of TRO's in North Hants at the moment, but they are under review, with the weather dictating their reopening.I can put a good day together without bothering that area though.
I would prefer not to add further to the group as one of my lads might join me.

Hi Mike,

I was at club night. We may have met! I did ask after you but you were not there at the time. I spent most of the time with another new guy - Mark. A short stocky guy.

Sunday would be best for me for meeting up. I'll PM you my number. If you don't mind giving me a call, we can sort out a meeting time and place.

Andy,

Petersfield/Butser hill might make a good meeting place? I don't know the lanes yet though. Sadly, I didn't get chance to mark up my map at the TRF meet. If I get to meet up with Mike, he may have a marked up map I can copy....

Cheers.

Paul.

Hi Paul, I've heard tell of some good lanes down that way but haven't got over there yet, I'll see what i can find out. Working this coming weekend then off for two, so that'll give me time to get the crm through its MOT, hopefully this week.
I've been sorting it out as it was last used for enduro only, just found the master cylinder is cracked underneath so the front brake lever pivot bolt is only attached at the top, bu**er.
Have a good weekend, hope you get out with Mike

We met up today and did about 140k's!

I met Mike and his son Aaron at 9.30am at a petrol station between Farnham and Odiham. Three CRM's!

Despite a fall when the front end got caught in a rut, I had a brilliant day! Thanks to you both.

We went to Binstead, Alton, Liphook, Bramshott, Hindhead, Haslemere, Frensham, Tilford, Shackleford, Seale and loads of other places I can't remember....

I fealt like I'd been beaten up by the time I got back! Hopefully it will get easier with more practise!

Paul.

P.S. was hoping to post a few pics, but I notice you can only add links... Shame.

Hi all, yes a good day out in Surrey and Hampshire. We had to have a hasty replanning of the day as the weather was cats and dogs[ literally] on one lane, and a lot of Hampshire lanes are very overgrown at the moment.
We did eventually find some sun though.
