Can anyone clear up some issues with my newly bought AR

So, I just picked up an AR model as I've never seen one for sale here before (Thailand) and heard they were good rides.

My primary concern is the powervalve, I'm used to 2stroke powervalves as I also own an NSR and a TZM and I've had them apart numerous times. However, I get the feeling this AR's powervalve has been ghetto'd at some point.

The powervalve cables link directly to the carb, well the extra section of the carb, like a pully system etc. Is this normal? Every powervalve, RCVALVE or YPVS I've dealt with have a valve>servo>cdi system in place. Is the AR running some kind of analogue system?

Also, the cable closest to the radiator, goes nowehere, it's just a cable sticking out and not attached to anything, where is this supposed to go?

I'd love you for life if you could upload a photo showing how your valve pulleys are set up, where they go etc. as I'm really struggling to find a manual online.

The bike actually rides fine, but does stutter and give in wide open, thus my investigation into this.

The powervalve cables go from the powervalve direct to the powervalve servo.

They go through the frame tube as per photo.

Carb should not be connected directly.

Been bodged well, the ECU is probably fried by the voltage regulator.

Damn, seems I have no servo then. Do you know anywhere I can buy one?

How do I go about testing the CDI?

Update.

I've just had the powervalve casing off to check how the valve is actually opening etc.

It's seem to operate in sync with the throttle via the carb. It actually works quite well.

Does anyone know the position of the valve for wide open/full power?

I'll upload a video in a second.

This idea has been discussed on a few occasions, but actually making it work correctly has proved elusive.
Lift the header exhaust of to view the powervalves ranges of movement, move carefully, manually.
