Draggy clutch

Hi all,
My Mk3 has a slight clutch drag issue. I've had the basket out & there is minimal wear on the tangs (usual cause for dragging clutches). It seems to get worse once the engine is hot, so something is expanding. Possibly dished plain plates? Anyone seen this before?
Cheers
Paul

How fresh is the gearbox oil? Is the cable adjusted properly? When cold, if you engage a gear with the engine not running, will the clutch disengage the drive?

Sounds like this bike is asking for quite a bit of TLC £££££.
Clean all the plain plates on an oiled piece of emery cloth on a flat surface (glass) and re-install.
Using a fine file, give the tanks on the clutch basket a quick rub to remove any high spots. As it this is a new fault its obviously down to clutch wear.

Think the whole bike needs some TLC. It's a testament to Honda how well they are built & how much abuse it's survived with me!
Have ordered a new clutch cover gasket, will get a wiggle on next week and try to solve it. Might make a new cable as I have the feeling this one isn't much longer for the world!

could be clutch springs worth replacing anyway and they cost next to nothing
