fitting a battery

is there anyone thats good with electrics coz i was thinking about a battery on my bike but dont know if the lighting coil could handle it or if it would blow something. i could do with an alarm on my bike coz ive had visitors!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

maybe tring to cross-reference a wiring diagram from a honda trailbike with the crm diagram to see if there are any similiarities.

any thoughts would be very helpfull?????????????????????????

Just get a standalone battery and use a jack plug and charger to charge it every night you park it up at home ..

I am sure I have seen disc locks with built in alarms, pretty sure they use their own batteries, not sure how loud they will be though!

ever thought of building a \"wire\" loop alarm , Like you see in dixons ,Running through all the portable stuff...ie BREAK OR CUT OR DISCONNECT THE WIRE CONNECTION ,, whoohaaaa THE ALARM SOUNDS..i could send diagram if you wish..
