thanks for the advice...think i'll leave it for the moment as it isn't leaking. i'll try to forget about it (should be easy ) until next oil change, and deal with it then.

Changed Oil in gearbox recently and found to my dismay bits of ali thread round the bolt. guess i did it up a bit too tight last time. :oops: Bolted in again okay and hasn't leaked but wondering if I'll be as lucky next oil change. anybody had this problem before?
can the thread be helicoiled? in or ...
