fuel pipe diameter

hiya
just about to change my worn fuel pipe and fit a inline filter seen it all on ebay but im not sure of the internal diameter is it 5mm? id go and check but the bike is stored somewhere else also seen alloy filters and plastic ones there is a big price difference are the plastic ones any good?

I replaced my pipes with 6mm braided hoses from Vehicle wiring products. I did the 2 coolant and the fuel line with the same stuff. the other smaller diameter coolant pipe is 4mm and is not available as a braided pipe so just put some spiral wrap to cover it. I have fond some steel braid that you can put over your existing hoses which i mught try one day. Good luck, Jon
