I am but 3 miles from you in Letchworth and I can tell you there is not a lot of places to ride around here if you want to stay legal, most of the time I ride over Arseley Pitts which is great fun, unfortunatly because of those 3 children killed there 2 years ago they are trying to close down and have dug trenches and welded fences made of railway lines to prevent access.
If you find somewhere else do post it as this could be my last year over the pitts, in the mean time why not get yourself over the pitts, you can get in from Stotfold road up side of old hospital and have some fun, I am over there most days at some point R reg MK3.
