sorry to dig up a old topic, but im haveing a pain in the arse getting my front bearing out!
the brake disk side came out without a problem..but the other side the bearing had completly collapsed!
So i tried tapping it out what just didnt work! and now im left with just the outer race of the bearing stuck in the hub, i've tried prying it out be with no luck at all! Any tips? i've left it soaking in WD40 over night to see if it helps

rene,to remove the outer race you need to make sure your hitting the race and not the wheel hub.remove the bearing spacer sleeve and clean the area behind the race so you can see what your hitting, using a good drift or decent large flat blade screw driver tap the race out from the other side of the hub.they can be stubborn b'stards so use some heat if it still wont budge.
i've manged to move it abit (i've got a gap all the way round the size of my screwdriver) but it was still being a bastard, i'll try the heat bit, think i've got a chefs blow torch laying around some were
not to mention because of the lazy bloody royal mail looks like i'll have to wait till monday before i can finish the job

i would give that ago as it sounds a really good idea! but my bearing has already fallen apart so all that is left in the hub is the out side race (bit that pushes agenst the hub) i've already got the iner race out!
