MK3 indicators

Is there anyway of making my indicators stay off when bike is in gear.I think its an American import and there on all the time on the front.Dont want to take them off the bike as i carry pillion on it when not greenlaning.

mk3,s and ars stay on its not american its just how they are, why d,ya need to turn em off? its no detriment

I want to turn them off because i feel like one of them arseholes who rides around with foglights on.

I think the only way to stop them coming on is to remove them completely; which is entirely legal if remove all indicators.

might just be an oz thing, but my indicators on the ar (front and back) only light up when flashing

I have been told you cannot carry pillon on a bke with no indicators.

I don't know about that.

I know it's a pain and I can see your point about drivers who have their fog lights perminently on but I don't think you have any simple way of getting what you want.

I have explained it elsewhere a while ago you need to remove standrd flasher unit for aftermrket go for an led one from halfords because it works with norm indicators or led ones plus if you lose your tmper when doing it they will refund you.the black wire on your standard one is the positive so connect it to red then join the oranges together and the blues together.i cant remember check back about four to six months ago for more info
