Welding on a Frame

Post by Eddie Evans » 12 Sep 2007, 13:26

Is it wise to disconnect any electrics before carrying out any welding.
I've only welded bikes with batteries before where disconnecting the battery earth lead was enough. Now I've got no battery I'm a bit puzzled :?
Thanks

I'm not sure to be totally honest, but unplugging the CDi sure wouldent hurt.
I think It would be fine as long as it dident short. But I'd hang on to see
what someone else reckons.
