Cheers chaps. She's definitely going to get dirty - oohhh yes!!!
And that garden's not mine..... that's where I got her - bought her from a top bloke in Liverpool - bike was on ebay with a "buy it now" option - so I did. My little pad isn't big enough to play in - most of the space is taken up by the double garage..... an 04 ZX10R and a 92 CBR1000F keeping the AR company.....
Just need to link up with some like-minded people down this way to find out where they ride. Have a couple of ordinance survey maps to have a look at.
Could I use this baby on a motox practice track without buggering her up?

Yes, you'd have no problems going round a practice track, just make sure the bike is well prepped and you should't have any problems
I used my old (nicked
) AR in a 3 hour hare and hound no problem
The only thing i had to keep an eye on was long grass blocking up the rad louvres, causing it to overheat a bit, but once spotted and cleaned every lap, didnt have a problem
Dont know much about the riding around Swindon, but if your ever down in gods own country give us a shout

For riding motorbikes it's great. I'll be there in 2 weeks with the CRM and the EC doing some green laning with the Trailrides Wales folks.
Anyone know Marianne? She is the best ever example of "don't judge a book by it's cover" I have ever met. She looks like a plump, middle aged, housewife. But she seems to be able to ride a bike places I wouldn't dream of, with her daughter on the pillion. The two of them did the Weston beach race in a sidecar this year too.
Maybe folk like me _can_ become gnarly off-road dudes

Go south of the M4 and you can ride pretty much any of the trails as most are BOATS (the green crosses on the OS maps) The Ridgeway is seasonal I believe around here, but illegal past the Wilts Border some place past Fox Hill. One of the best places in the countries for sheer number of legal lanes... Gotta be the main reason I'm staying here- it certainly isn't for the local totty!!!
