Frameguards?

Post by Bargos » 30 Jun 2003, 08:55

Morning everyone,

Wheres the cheapest place to buy some frameguards for my mark2? I see that Leisuretrail's come in at a cool £70, bit too rich for my tastes, anyone got any insider info?

Before I went out on sunday I just gaffa taped the frameup, worked a treat but doesnt look quite as good as Ali frameguards...

You could try Bogbusters - a little cheaper @ £38 (but still to much for me!). I use the clear tuff stuff (of cuts from stuff I used to protect the plastics) and it seems to last.

My mk2 has the stainless guards from LT. I took them off the other day to clean behind them and was delighted to find they'd rubbed on the frame bad enough to remove all the paint behind leaving the steel exposed which was rusting nicely! If you do get them I'd advise backing them with some gaffa tape or something.
