front brake disc

Post by tomh » 22 Jan 2008, 15:01

I have just received my front brake disc from leisuretrail and its a moto x one, looks good but the plastic cover that goes with the standard disk wont fit, will this be a problem? I wouldnt imagine it would be.

Me too please " that's right purdy" .

:?: Looking at your valve stem lock nut tomh i see you favour the nut down on the rim method.
Is that just me likes to run with the nut up against the valve cap?
that way i can see at a glance that the tube has moved' more so back than front.
I don't think the lock nut would stop the tube moving and the first you know about it is when the fecker goes flat on you.

That's purely a personal preference and not to be taken as "the last word in tube fitment".

good luck

I got the disc from leisuretrail, just asked for a replacement disc for a mk1, its a moto x disk and cost £55 which seemed about right to me
