Yeah, back when I rode enduros, I had a Husky. JD was a Husky dealer back then. He used to ride most of the SWEC rounds, even was clerk of the course for the Dunmere one year...so he put back in, for sure. Always the mark of a true pro, when he came to overtake me, which he did often, wasnt any shouting, swearing, tooting...just a 'Oi, oi' or a bit of a rev, and I'd pull over. Always a wave or 'thanks' as he passed.
Im Liskeard, which is def SE cornwall. My mate used to run Celtic Trail Rides, but the guy who runs it now uses this area and is very good too. Sometimes advertise in TBM.
You ever fancy Long Distance Trials? Thats a kinda trail ride with some sport thrown in too. My Mk 2 is so I can get back into them, lots to choose down this way.
Regards Tony
Hi tony

May well have Mike..last LDT i rode was about 8 or 9 years back, before the kids arrived..but have done few MCC events, End to End, Ten Tors, Geoff Westcott(N Devon), I was also on the committee of Holsworthy Motor Club and we ran/run the Chairmans Trial (Feb) and the Taw and Torridge (Sept). Still marshall a few now (was out on the Exeter cpl weeks back) and planning to make a triumphant return..err... well..a return!
Just planning to join TRF after years of 'i oughta get round to that'. the post on here with all the info on joining etc means theres really no excuse!
I phoned the Ramblers today, but the bloke on the phone just went on and on....

Yes done the ten tors + moor to sea' not done any of those others yet' but hopefully still time.

I only started doing L.D.T.s 4 years ago' pressure of work ect but things are a bit more laid back now' my 2 boys are both grown up now' not to say it gets any easier as they grow up just different!!!!.
I'm waiting for regs for the WYEGATE L.D.T. which is going to be a 2 dayer this year 'late March.
