Hi Chris. No they are not plastic, infact they are very good. I bought a pair of the same from "UKGP SHOP" about three months ago and find them excellent. I paid around £20 delivered, from the U S :D :D

Ive got a set on my MK2, like Gwyn says, they are very good and great value. My pivot pin was worn, so I replaced it with an 8mm stainless steel bolt and a nylock nut..job done!
Get em while the exchange rate is so good!
I phoned the Ramblers today, but the bloke on the phone just went on and on....

Hi chris,
if youve bought them from either PRO GP or UK GP on ebay (same shop), they took about a week when I ordered mine ( that was Feb this year).

Mine arrived today & I've just spent 10mins fitting them (& that included greasing everything...ahem  )

They aren't perfect as they are angled backwards, very slightly. When I get a few minutes, I'll have a go at them with my dremel & they'll be spot-on. They just need a small amount of cutting back so they can move forwards/down enough. The mounting holes & spring retaining lug are lined up just right, though. Well worth the money & should be much more comfortable, standing up on them all day...

Thanks again for pointing them out to us, Chris.
Paul
