Hi Ryan, we are neighbours, relatively speaking, I'm West Weybridge.
Can I suggest you join the TRF, you can go out on a try before you buy ride to see if this is for you.

We are fairly well catered for with Byways in Surrey, compared to some Counties  we have about 80 kms of usable Byway.
You can also down load from Surrey County Council, Rights of Way Dept, a list of all Byways within Surrey, this PDF, will give you a O.S. map ref to the start and end of every lane.

I do ride out quite often, indeed we are out Sunday, but I already have a full compliment of riders at the moment.
What riding experiences do you have.
If I haven't clocked up at least 100 mls at the end of the Day I feel cheated :D .

Most definitely not, and ,seeing plod crush your new pride and joy will bring a tear to your eye.
For maps go to this site, and it's free p/p, so great value.

Be sure to only "mark up with a highlighter pen", the legal Byways.
Surrey Police are now getting very hot on illegal riding.
