hi, dose any one know if the screws at the bottom of the fork legs ( right under the bottom ) is it for the damping ? if so mine will not turn , is this a common fault, or is it for holding the stantions in the forks,

They should turn but, all to frequently they have seized.
The forks need to be stripped down for their removal, and even then there's no guarantee of getting them to free up.
If the forks are to soft, try putting newer oil in, and slightly heavier, Mix 1 LTR of 10 wt AND 1 LTR of 7.5 wt, this cocktail will give a firmer action, BUT, a slower return stroke.

thanks for that info, i added 80mls of 20 grade in each fork leg, now they are spot on for me, i use it on the road most of the time and now it handles like a sports bike when brakeing not so much ducking and diving now, what a diffrence it makes, the bike feels safer when brakeing, reconmended for road use,
