if you are getting it reboard ( which you can on a mk2 , its not sleved / nical plated )
find out what yours size is, work out your over size say 0.50 ect , order your piston kit and small ends and gasket head kit , then find a company that will reboure it for you, if you ask the piston seller what clearance the piston needs for the reboure THEY WILL TELL YOU THE SIZE NEEDED, then tell the reboure man the clearances needed, also make sure they also reboure/ homeing the power valve part thats in the barrel , others on this site know more about this than me,ask them,

this is some of the info i have found out because i need to do my engine reboure soon,
so before you buy any piston kits , find out every thing and parts and people you need to get the job done right,
eg:find some one to reboure it, piston clearences for the reboure man, find out about homing the power valve in barrel/ reboure, take it to him and ask him what oversize he would recomend given the condition of the barrel,
piston sizes you will need or can get,
head gasket / ect
smallends , conrod , conrod pins/clips

tips on doing it,
IF ITS A STANDARD BOURE DO NOT BOTHER REPLASING IT WITH THE SAME BUT NEW , GET IT REBOURED,

FIND OUT AS MUCH AS YOU CAN BEFORE YOU DO ANY THING FIRST,

'FAQ -Check here first' is a good place to start with this kind of question.

There are a mulititude of CR250 pistons. Personally I have not used any, apparently some have but I am not sure :? .

TRX 87-89 is fine except different gudgeon pin and bearing.

CRMs won't pull arms out of their sockets unless you hit a tree.
