another flat

as mooses are not road legal , inner tubes are crap , did anyone look further into these http://www.tubliss.co.uk/, after FMTB brought them to our attention a while ago ?
or any ideas to prevent flat tyres ultra seal etc
Im thinking about a bike with more valves than a powervalve

No I haven't progressed that topic any further yet, I'm still running with heavy duty tubes and puncture seal gloop.back off road wrote:after getting an all day pass , 2 hours greenlaning in the peak district was brought to a sudden end due to a bloody flat

I'm guessing you may need to up you're tyre pressures a little for the area you're riding in.
What pressure do you currently run?
Twisted's right though, fixing a flat should have you back on the Trail in an hour easy.
Carry a 21" tube, this will do a front or back repair.
Prevention works better than repairs.
A lot of guys do run Mooses, and , pop, an old valve stem in the appropriate hole to disguise the fact

didnt repair it as i am too lazy and wanted to go and play ,so i left the tools at home, rather than fitting the tool bag & filling it up ,all of a 5min job and it cost me oooooh about 3 hours riding time and took 1/2 hour to repair once i got it home bugger

It really doesn't need to be that extensive, have a look round the bike, half a dozen spanners will sort most problems, and some pliers.

Re: another flat
right a couple of lads up deeside completly rate them tubliss's theyre both senior mechanics and have also ridden both enduro and a shed load of motocross and they use the tubeliss for both sets of their bikes i havent seen their enduro bikes but i have seen their crf 450's and can also confirm they do contain tubeliss's im also going to try them out, them tubeliss's have done brilliantly up deeside and as abigsupermoto can confirm deeside isnt the smoothest of places for tyres and tubes
front brakes only slow you down anyway!!!!

fmtb thats the annoying thing , i have a rear fender toolbag with the tools in but after fitting the cr back end and not having a deal of spare time with work commitments . i wanted to get out on the bike rather than fastening it on b4 i went out ,the 1/2 hour when i got in included fitting a new tube and fitting the tool bag
