MK3 purple same as AR purple??

quick question fellas..

is the purple used on the MK3's (tank, and fenders) the same color as used on the AR???


Im asking because D&D are making me some purple graphics for my AR, but they only have a purple MK3 tank to use as a reference.

In most photos on the internet that Iv seen, the AR seems to be a blue/purple whereas the MK3 seems to be a proper purple...

can someone shed some light for me, otherwise Ill have to get D&D to send me some color samples to get it perfect.

Not sure but there are definitely two AR purples .

I just checked and the AR tank color Iv been using as a reference (from the internet) is different to mine!!!

there is a bluey purple... but mine has a little tiny bit more pink to it... not much tho, only 5 points of hue

One is quite dark, one is light. The difference is very apparent.

Remember that the camera, 'photoshop software' and computer screens effect colour.

yeah, Iv just been trying to match the hues with the PC screen, atleast that part should be semi accurate...

but the light/darkness is tricky as every computer screen is different...

I think Im going to have to get some samples posted out to me to get it perfect :)
