Crm 250cc workshop manual
Crm 250cc workshop manual
Hi people I've been trying to find a work shop manual for a Honda crm 250 it's a 1991 h reg bike. The bike is racing tuned with a sports clutch.
The bike belonged to my nephew who recently died of cancer last year so I've took it apon myself to get the bike running well again. The bike has sat in the garage for about 1 1/2 years and it's really hard to start but when it does it only cutouts anyway
Would it be a good idea to give it a service first if it is what oil and spark plug would you recomend for the job
Any advice would be wonderful
Thanks for your help

Re: Crm 250cc workshop manual
Hi and welcome mate, sorry for your loss.
There is a manual, but its not as in depth as an haynes type one.
If you have a search on here theres a post with a link to the downloadable one. Its the one that you can get from Leisure Trail. It gives you basic specifications etc
Hope this helps

Re: Crm 250cc workshop manual
Welcome.
Have a look through 'Honda CRM250 FAQ - Check Here First'. Specifically - viewtopic.php?f=20&t=5261
Most likely to be a fuel problem. Strip the carb and give it a good clean as there is likely to be gunk and gunge in there. Also empty the petrol tank and refill with new petrol but put a inline fuel filter between the tank and the carb (very cheap ~£2).
