Shes back

Post by Furai » 03 Jan 2012, 15:52

Right for those of you that have read my threads before you know that i have had some issues with having it run on half a piston, now that i have put a new piston in she obv runs 100% better, now the only issue i have is that going from idle to full throttle the bike dies but it i put the choke on abit the bike revs freely from idle to full i take it i need a bigger pilot jet?

many thanks guys and happy riding.

Good that she's running :D .

Can't remember what model you have & what jetting. Please post.

There is also the air jet to consider adjusting and whetther the engine is warmed through.

yeah sounds too lean...

were you letting your bike warm up properly first?
as a cold bike needs the choke to rev freely, thats what chokes are for ;)
sorry, its stoopid question but I had to ask just incase
