REAR LIGHT WIRING!!!!!! (HELP PLEASE!)
Hey all.. i brought my 92 crm not to long back. and im having trouble wiring up the back light on it.
(as it has a different rear mudgaurd and tail light)
the wires from the bike are as follows.
(green/yellow)
(green)
(orange)
(brown)
(white)
and the ones from the tail light are:
(red)
(black)
(yellow)
if anybody has any idea of what goes to what it would be very helpful.

Theres an online coloured wiring diagram somewhere, not on me computer so i cant post the link. Have a search on here, i think theres a post with the link by holidays in holland.

In the absence of the wiring diagram you can take the green wire from the bike as the earth. If you then connect a PP9 battery to where the capacitor is (under the headlight) =ve to red, -ve to green (take the capacitor off first
). With the ignition on you can then find out which wires relate to which function by operating the various switches.
You can then work out what wire is common to the tail light cluster (probably black) and the other wires that do the tail light and the brake light - again using the PP9 battery.
Then it is just working out a method to connect the two circuits together.
