Project No 3 now completed, pictured with other 2, will be a couple of weeks before next one is stripped and refurbished

i reckon you should have all forum members round and we can judge them on looks and rideablity( if that's a word.lol)
we would have to test them all though...........haha
mk1... with mk2.2 engine,running mk1 electrics,mk1 carb on standard mk1 jetting + settings.dep front pipe.jap alloy can of unknown make. twinair filter on plastic cage.l/h mk1 rad.r/h mk2 (extra coolant takeoff on 2.2 head)
xr650 wheels .gritty front,mitas rear

Yes I know the sticker "was" missing from centre headlight, was..........

AND the front brake hoses are different colours and lengths, ............. and the bar pads are different colours, ..................... and the sticker kits are different; as are the front tyres .............................




Not quite identical then. Is the one in the middle a girl and the other boys :?: ;) .

I .............never said identical, also just consulted my Solicitor, wife, cleaner upper who has also confirmed that she said I did not say I said identical.

Just got the IT175 Head off, small area of corrosion on intake side of bore, so new top end and crank seals this week.

Its nice to take a cylinder head off with 5 nuts only having to remove the spark plug cap for access, aircooled has one benefit.

Haha, seriously what are you going to do with them? Won't be long before your garage looks like Leisure Trail's showroom did about 10 years ago!! They would look pretty cool all riding round together!!
