AR ADDITION

Post by helisupp »

1st days assembly completed, wiring loom in place.

Another few days (few slow hours a day) and all going well should be running and ready for graphics.

Just been told forks stanchions have to be rechromed due to a few pits by suspension service centre, another £200 gone.......

You can never have enough refurbished nuts bolts and brackets etc on a rebuild.

Its nice to just pick the correct one out of the pile.

She's coming along, no time today to do anything to it today, next bike is lurking in the cardboard box (Active Rascals old bike) to be started next week.

Slowly getting there, hopefully finished by Monday, need to test a forum members ECU and powervalve controller on the bike once its running, set of spare forks fitted whilst waiting for refurbished ones to come back.

Nice to have new chain and sprox, but always a tight fit with standard 14 tooth for case protector.

Bike is ready for engine running and leak checks tomorrow, making sure oil pump is held at maximum when starting up for first time.

Started 3rd kick, everything works. Nearly stickered up, just a couple more to go, just got to change (have another newly covered) seat and gearbox oil. Then its onto the last bike.

The one thing they are not is mint.

They are in very good condition with a few new parts, photos always make them look better than they are.
