Clutch basket......
Hi all, is the nut that holds the clutch basket on, normal anti-clockwise to undo Off.

Lock it with a soft aluminium bar, though some people have used 2p coins.

Yep old school two pence for me, I remember the RD250 days and the same lockup tool.
I was lucky for the balancer shaft, put it in first and locked the rear brake with a mate holding the bike and managed to undo it.
not sure until I put it together how I will retighten on rebuild but I will find out when it warms up enough for me to go in the garage and work on the bike.
