How hot does a rectifier normally get?

Post by Active Rascal » 09 Apr 2013, 12:32

Hi all,

This may seem a daft question, but for some reason I touched my rectifier with the bike not long been running, and it seemed extremely hot to touch by hand. however, having never actually done this before that I can remember I don't know if this is normal?

If anyone knows, or if anyone touch the rectifier by hand after the bike's been running a few minutes or so, and tell me if it feels rather 'hot' much appreciated.

Cheers,

Shaun.
