2T drain plug

I would like to drain the 2T oil from my frame on my Mk2. Is the only drain/bleed screw the one located on/at the oil pump unit? Is there a better way to drain the 2t oil out?

Syphon? Pela vacuum pump? If do use the drain screw, it is incredibly fiddly, and know to easily cross thread

Pull off the pipe going to the oil pump from the frame and drain into a bottle overnight.
