Usd forks

Post by Tomzed »

Could do with some help my standard forks on my mk3 are not worth repairing now that they've been stripped. However I've just had my front wheel rebuilt and yokes powder coated.
So I'm wondering if there's any better forks out there that will fit the standard wheel and yokes?
Or am I better getting a good set of AR forks

I run CR250 USD forks in mine, late nineties vintage i believe. Slightly smaller diameter, so have thin sleeves in the yolks so they tighten fully. I only use it off road so i run the CR wheel (no speedo pick-up). Don't know if you need spacers etc to fit the CRM wheel .....
