My corn I’ve just brought

Hi all and thank you for letting me join. Please excuse my ignorance to the crm250 but I have just brought a I believe a mk1. The previous owner told me there was a slight leak of two stroke oil and it was a common thing with these bikes but a easy fix?. I have taken the seat tank and side panels off and there is oil everywhere.there is a rubber grommet with what looks like a wire coming out of it on the frame. Could this be a clue? You've found the oil sensor.

They leak often to varying degrees. Could try sealants or glues as many have tried but no guarantee how long it will last
