Aliexpress

Post by bobbler »

Has anyone bought parts from aliexpress? I messaged leisure trail about some parts for the mk2 but they no longer stock thimgs like pillion pegs and supermoto spacers and the only place i can find them showing in stock is here.

Not sure how I feel about buying from the likes of aliexpress/wish etc but wondering if anyone has (and survived 😉)

I would want to make sure they actually fit. More often than not, they get something like this designed to fit one bike and then just list them for any bike they can think of. Rear pegs come up for sale every so often. I bought a pair for my bike, but never fitted them so sold them on.

As for spaces for the supermoto wheels, have you got the wheels yet? The wheels are going to determine the size of spacer you need.

Cheers, I haven't got the wheels yet. I was hoping to get a price for a full kit and save scouring ebay (wheels, rotor, spacers etc.) but it doesn't look like leisure trail have all the bits.

I don't take a pillion much but I have an 11yr old who loves getting on the back from time to time.

You could try Talon for wheels, they used to do a set for the xr650 which is as close of a fit you will get.

I use AliExpress alot. Use the user reviews as they can be brutal. If you see something saying it's poor then accept it and move to the next product.
