Front disc guard

I've just typed this before, pressed submit, and it dissapeared!!!!

Anyway, has anyone fitted a front disc guard to their bike(Mk3)? I just got one today from LT, offered it up to the bike and it just scrapes on the disc. Am I missing the point here or do I have to go to the lathe and make some spacers?

Oh, I'll have a rant while I'm on. Why is it that every bike I buy, when I get spares for it, they never fit without a bit of a tickle here and there, and some massive re-machining sometimes??? Rant rant rant

me too but mine came with two spacers fit the larger in front hole thinner in rear hole ,if I remember I had to widen a hole in fork gaurd it may look a little wrong but it works,I thought the spacers were for the other redundent holes. hope this helps.
