tired of waiting for engineer for my laithe work,so I got side tracked by a veradero 125, after measuring three set's of wheels for crm specs I 've kind of got an eye for it, its rear wheel looks so promising so I researched the specs ,they seem to match even the disc and sprocket so I've got one coming £50.its a nice 3 spoke one 17\" a matching front can be sourced from a cbr6/9,vtr,hornet.making the front fit is no prob just wheel spacers and afew washers on the caliper.obviously I'm going digital on the speedo . :?: :?

slasher if you go digital on the speedo front, have a look on fleabay at the push bike speedos.i found one on there that looks and does exactly the same as the trailtech enduro unit unit for 99p +£6 postage the trailtech retails for around £60.would have posted the link but i can't seem to pull it up so you'll have to browse

I have just got a solar power digi speedo from Lidle for 5 quid, I haven't fitted it yet but it seems up to the job and you can put two wheel sizes in for when you change wheels 8)

cheers slider but I'm already on abigs idea but im mixing the magnetic reed switch with an led 7 segment display unit available from Maplins electronics for £19.99 should register up to 99 mph [a crm's max] unless yours is better.flashy double digit display should look good.might go for blue led's.no wheel yet but I'll keep you posted,oh it should fit perfectly in original speedo display. :D

veradero 125 wheel looks good, needs 11mm off brake disk side , 7mm on sprocket with spacer, then 3 spacers.standard wheel takes a 130 tire anyone know how big i can oversize ,150 would be good.VTR 1000 firestorm front wheel maiches with looks but the weird thing is they only have a 120 tire but the rim is wider than the veradero rim.I might fit a 110 tire to this so that everything looks in the correct proportion+ I may go a higher profile on the rear.
