G'Day Another new Aussie

Post by outerwater »

Just thought I'd say hi to all you other aussie CRM riders, currently rebuilding my 92 CRM. Hope to have pictures soon. Any aussies know where to get parts from in Australia. Im from Central coast NSW, second hand parts would be great.
Also can anyone tell me if Cr 250 parts a interchangable with CRM 250. Would like to know especially if cr pipes can be put on to CRM.
I know where the pipe goes into the engine is different but this can easily be modified more concerned if the ergonomics of the pipe will fit the CRM.
If any one has any information on this and other cr parts would be greatly appreciated CRM parts are so hard to get down here in OZ.

Cheers.

P.S how do you tell the difference between MK2 and MK2.2 and what are the diferences.

wotcha cobba! check out the \"what fits what\" section of the forum, could be some usefull info there , dont know bout the cr/ crm pipe issue, id guess youd have to look at old crs circa 89 90 , the crm was loosly based on the motocross bikes of that era, good luck with the re build , but try trolling through old posts on here theres lots of interesting stuff that might help.....fair dinkum

hi there outerwater, glad to hear of another CRM'r in aus!
Not sure about 92 models, but for my 99AR can get parts from my local yamaha dealer. The fella looked at me blankly when i said CRM250AR, but typed it into his little computer and a whole parts list came up for it.
Hope this helps,
Julian
Also, where's central coast? coffs harbour way?
