condensor

hello there i bought a knackered mk2 and am trying to get it running but i just wanted to know where i might find the condensor any help would be much appriciated cheers Dan

should be behind the headlight cowl,its a large black cylinder with a red and a green cable coming out from it,caeser

cheers for that im thinking thats why it wont start as it anit got one. ive got a spark but im taking it thats whats wrong

The condensor is normally there to save the points and suppress radio interference. As the CRM doesn't have points, I am puzzled why there is a condensor at all.

Ah, it looks to be performing the function of a battery, providing a store of electickery for the ignition box to use. I guess one might be handy, then.

i have had my bike running without this capacitor, but the lights wont work thats all. Jon

hello there could you tell me if this looks like the right condensor its of a trx 450 and the code on the end is ADP-28 and 4.1 332 any help would be great cheers

I am pretty sure that any condensor will work. It basically just smoothes the alternator output. You are not going to break anything by trying that one. It might matter which way round you connect it.

it has the same green and red wires coming out of it so im taking it its the same but not sure
