Post by reevo » 04 May 2009, 20:14

hi all, i have a few problems with the bike 1 is the clutch not disengaging. did a search and found it to be the basket had knotches where the plates sit. the other problem is a whineing noise from the right hand side. i have removed the clutch casing to sort the clutch problem and while i have it of , i have had a spin of the water pump. is it supposed to be tight and knotchy?. could this be my whineing.

thanks ste

 Sounds ;) , like you're there with your diagnosis,be aware that a whining noise can also be emitted by one of the balance shaft bearings, though usually louder.
