plymouth mk 2 crm 250 i think??? :)
Hello
After owning a cbr 600 for a while I decided to buy a cheap trail bike for a few laughs.
(I used to ride trailies on my cbt)
After looking on ebay and free ads and just about every other place imaginable I saw a crm250 on ebay and thought wow that looks like a hell of a lot of fun. (Like my old mtx 125 but better in every way)
I then decided to do some research and found this website, and thought the crm 250 sound like a really good bike! Look back on ebay and it was gone :( . . . I thought oh well and carried on looking around. Couldn’t find and thing for ages and gave up on the idea until I sorted my cbr out.
A few days after I pulled in to my local petrol station and thought that looks nice?
It was a crm 250 just sat there? I asked they guy if he was selling it, he said "400 quid with a few running issues" so I thought about it and left it a few days and went back. .. He said, "Do you still want the bike? I said yea, he said "400 and its yours", I thought mmmmm and pulled a funny face and he said, "Fine 375 and u can have it! I pulled an even funnier face and he said "for god sake 300 and get out of my sight!
And now I have a crm 250 that I know nothing about and need all the advice that I can!

first thing, change all the oils and check the bearings. then give it a good run for an hour or so and listen for any noises that dont sound right. you should be ok, then enjoy the bike, they are great fun.

Hope it has not to many nasty, hidden issues.
Have a look in the history section to identify your model.
Good luck
