would this be the indicator relay? both flashes going bright
after ripping off one rear indictor entirely -
now indicators dont work at all
front indi's are on ( faintly? ) and activating left or right with the switchgear results in BOTH front going bright?!
I scored some incandescent indicators - ( on special ! ) ( old missing one side were LED - but the front indicators look to be incandescent bulb type )
after soldering and crimping the heads on ( what's the name for these ?)
( tested with a battery 4x aa = 6 v -) they are glowing
connected to bike - not working..
its still raining here so I havent taken head light to look at relay... ( wasnt earlier today but I had to work! )
according to the manual I can test . ( manual downloaded from here *might* be an AR manual?? is that massively different on electrical?
)
I did take a measurement of the voltage on the wires feeing the indicator lights but it seemed low - ( less than 2 V - and it pulsed - but that could have been it idling )
assuming thats bust I will just go and find any 2 connector relay?

solved!
classic case of over thinking! ( waiting for the rain )
i had prepared - crocodile clips and battery
meter for testing
finally not at work and not rainign...
whipped headlight off -
figured out which was flasher unit.. 7 cables...
pulled connection
- went hmmm corroded and dirty... sprayed clean..
reconnected - thought wonder if that fixed it
it did!
