Sorry. Please don't think I am being unhelpful but without seeing the bike I can't rewire it for you.

Are you sure you have checked the basics - spark plug, ignition coil, generator etc then the wiring connections and the circuits and resistances. There is a wiring diagram in the CRM guide done by Leisure Trail. You should be able to work out the loom from that.

The only trouble with the Leisure Trail manual is that there is no colours marked on it (or at least in my AR version)! I spent ages repairing my wiring and mine hadn't been hacked about too much. If yours has been butchered then bank on spending a fair while sorting it out. As stated below you just need to methodically sort through the wiring. There are not too many wires that are needed for it to spark!

Have you ensured the sidestand switch is correctly bridged over, as I believe this is part of the ignition system, corrections welcome!!

There is a description on the site about shorting out the sidestand switch on the forum but I can't find it :? . The connection is the green connector that sits under the front of the seat. Two of these wires need to be connected together but it only shorts the ignition out if the bike is in gear.

I have to say, take it in to a good shop that have a true understanding of bike wiring.

My CRM had alsorts of issues when I put it back together :o

Just a simple issue ,there are two plugs behind the headlight that are the same fit--I put them around the wrong way

The shop striped back the outer and fixed

If the guys on here cannot create tips to fix - mainly because they cannot see the issue, maybe the shop can.

Dont give up :P I just love my angry wasp with all its mad tendencies.

I am sure that that somone on here can recomend a place to take the bike close to were you are.

Good luck

I've never used the guy but 'Ferret' has got a good reputation in the Vintage jap crowd and he'll come out to you. He shouldn't be troubled too much as the CRM uses standard connectors etc.
