Hi everyone, just got CR250AR.

Hi all,
few days ago got my CRM250AR from Japan.
Had a little ride after service, it's really mad bike, just what I wanted to get :-)

But I had some problems with quiet ride, when engine slows down,
and I try to ride on low turnovers, I hear some noise (knock), and feel some shock via frame.
Like somebody kicks frame with hammer, and noise close to metal hammer too.
So when I try to ride on same speed on low throttle bike is a little twitching all over.

I'm not sure about terms "hunting", but something similar described here:
viewtopic.php?f=6&t=4709&p=28747&hilit=tickover#p28747

Can somebody clarify is it a problem or something ordinal for CRM250?
Also, there on main service page something about replacing pilot jet:
http://www.crm250.com/service.asp
Should it help in my case?
Thanks.

P.S. Bike comes with Pro Skill resonator, probably it causes a problem on low speed.

Hi and welcome the noise could be from the drive chain clattering check the guide on the swingarm just behind the front sprocket is not worn out. I think the AR has the shark fin type as fitted standard. ANother idea it could be the power valve rattlle as mine does and is most noisy when closing the throttle,.

Thanks MarkF12.
OK, I'll check guide.
But probably it is power valve, because I hear noise close to that during rev throttle on place,
during warming engine.
Will try to check this somehow...
Probably need to clear valve with axis...
